Club Vision

Logan Lightning FC Inc vision is to continue the expansion and development of our facilities, while continuing the promotion of football within Logan City by providing the highest quality development for all players, officials and volunteers.

Preamble

Logan Lightning FC Incorporated became a new Association after the amalgamation of Loganholme FC Incorporated and Beenleigh Football Club took place in 2013. Both clubs had an associated history in the Logan area that dated back since 1979 and produced many talented players that went on to represent at State, National and International levels.

The Association was created as a non-profit, family and community orientated club that channels all funds into player participation, development and resources for the Association.

We have also helped produced professional players such as:

Tahj Minniecon (Gold Coast United) Who reportedly quoted as acknowledging Loganholme as his most influential junior club;

James Donachie (Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar & Young Socceroos);

Michael Turnbull (formerley of New Zealand Knights);

Ersan Gulam currently playing for Hebei China Fortune (Australia U23 & represented Turkeys National Team 7 times)

Rahmat Akbari (Beenleigh Lions, Logan Lightning, Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory, Australia’s squad for the Asian Football Confederation Under-16 Championships.)
